This distinctive armchair was presented at the Salon d’Automne in 1929 by Le Corbusier, and is a result of the collaboration between Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret.
The distinctive external chromed tubular steel frame encompasses sumptuous fine grade leather cushions in a design which was a revelation at the time, and which continues to inspire and delight.
Another exemplary illustration of the international style ethos. The cushions are made of foam for firm support with luxurious comfort. The leather is hand-selected and skilfully sewn and piped to ensure lines as clean and precise as Le Corbusier originally stipulated.
Both the two-seater and the three-seater sofa are also available from Think Office Ltd.
